Are all dentures the same?

Immediate dentures are a temporary solution to prevent you from having to remain toothless while you heal. Your dentist makes your immediate dentures before your extraction appointment, so you can begin wearing them immediately after your procedure. 

Removable partial dentures (RPDs)

Removable partial dentures enable you to replace missing teeth if you still have healthy teeth in your mouth. They use a special metal or plastic base that holds your artificial teeth in place to work side-by-side with your natural teeth.

What should I expect from dentures?
